We didn't spot a market gap. We lived it.
The moment
TodoThe paragraph below is a placeholder scene, not the founder's real story — needs the actual moment (where, what he was doing, what happened) before this ships.
It's 11pm. You've been trying to finish the same twenty-minute workout for two hours. Every time you get four minutes in, someone needs you. Eventually you stop trying — not because you don't care about your own health anymore, but because nothing you've ever used was built for a life that gets interrupted this many times a day.
The realization
Every fitness app, every meditation app, every wellness brand out there was designed for someone with a guaranteed uninterrupted hour. Nobody had built anything for the rest of us — the people whose day doesn't pause just because we need it to.
The build & the pivot
WellParent didn't start as WellParent. It started as DadFit — built for one dad, by one dad, because that was the version of the problem I knew firsthand. But once other parents started reaching out — moms, grandparents, foster parents, people navigating premature birth and NICU stays I recognized all too well — it became clear the problem was never specific to dads. It was parenting. WellParent is what happens when you listen to the people you're actually building for, and rebuild around all of them.
TodoConfirm the level of detail you're comfortable making public in the premature-birth/NICU reference above — this is the most personal paragraph on the site.
The mission
WellParent isn't trying to help parents find time for wellness. It's trying to build wellness that fits inside the time parents already have — on day one with a newborn, and just as much when that child is seventeen. This isn't a companion for the first eighteen months. It's a companion for the next eighteen years.
